As you can see from the previous posts, WWE Supercard has a lot to offer. It's no wonder that it can be so addicting to those who play it. You are constantly challenged to draft picks to get better cards and have so many game modes and events that help you achieve better cards.
While these posts have only covered a little bit about the game, such as navigating the app, the different permanent game modes, and team and individual events. There is still more that I could talk about in regards to this game. Topics such as building a successful team, various game mode strategies, and much more.
This game has changed my life, possibly even consumed it at times, and I hope that these posts are a starting point for those who are new to the game or interested in downloading the app. It's fun, it's addicting, and honestly, there might not be a better game out there than this one. It has so many aspects that you can enjoy!

Special Events
If you find yourself getting board of the monotony of playing the permanent game modes, or simply waiting for your bouts to refill? Then I have good news for you!
Special Event modes!!!
That's right, every Monday you can participate in a 24 hour Team Event (if you are on a team with at least 8 players). Or every Thursday-Sunday you can compete in an individual event to help you progress in the game or even play for a powerful special card. Here's the Events Screen in case you were interested:
The two types of events you will participate in are Ring Domination (RD) and Road to Glory (RTG). These alternate each week starting with Ring Domination. For the Team version, you use cards that are provided by your teammates to play the event and the top card is a regular version of the card. In the individual events, you can earn a single event card (more powerful than regular cards) if you are at the top tier of the game from each event. Which means that you must complete both RD and RTG to get the pro version.
Both RD and RTG use the bout system described in the MITB and RR section of the Permanent Game Modes post. But let me help you understand each event better, by explaining it's game play.
In RD, you have a deck of 16 male superstar cards and a board of 9 squares (think tic-tack-toe). The AI selects 6 cards from your deck that you can play on the board. After you play your card the AI will play a card from your opponents hand. Like Royal Rumble, the arrows on the card have a purpose in this mode. The direction of the arrow allows you to attack a card played on the board that it points to. So if you have a yellow up arrow card in your hand and the AI plays a card on at the top of the board, you can use the up arrow card to attack that card on the board. The goal is to have the most cards on the board at the end. If you attack (or the AI attacks you) the stronger card wins and both cards now belong to the winner.
If you win in RD, you get 4 picks, if you lose you only get 2. Rather than the normal 25 card draft board, RD uses a special 36 shard board. You begin playing for 3 cards starting with a card below your RD deck strength. Each time you draw a Rare or better card you reveal a piece of the card and the board resets to the number of shards minus the ones you've revealed. Once you reveal all 36 shards, you win the card that was behind the shards. After you finish the first card below your deck tier, you play for a card at your current deck tier and if you clear that card you can play for the card above your deck tier. If you are at the top tier, the third card you play for is the Event card.
RTG is similar to RD in that you are playing for cards found in the event. However, you start at the lowest card tier for the event and earn points on a (+1, +3, +5) level with each bout you play. Each card in the event you earn requires more and more points to earn that card.
In RTG, you use 16 male superstar cards, 4 female superstar cards, and 2 support cards. You then face off against an opponent over 4 rounds where you have 4 cards from your deck shuffled into your hand each round. Then you play against your opponent like in Wild mode where you are either playing a male/female solo match or a male/female tag match. At the end of the bout, to earn the points for the bout you need to won more matches (or tied) your opponent. You also get 8 picks from the normal draft board.
As you progress, the +5 and +3 matches get more difficult as the opponents deck tier increases along the way. Unless you have a RTG deck in the top tier you can expect to hit what players call "the wall." The +1 bouts are matched against opponents with a similar deck tier as your own and you will generally have to play +1 bouts to finish the card of the tier your deck is found in.
Whether it's a team event or individual event, they all provide you a good way to build your deck and earn new cards for your arsenal. These events also help break up the monotony of the permanent game modes. Again, I've created a brief 5 minute tutorial on what has been mentioned in this post in the video below:
The Permanent Game Modes
You guys remember the Permanent Game Modes screen right? Well, if you don't here it is again:
Let's talk about these game modes as you'll want to know the basics as you get started on your way to WWE Supercard glory!
First up, we have Wild Mode and Ranked Mode:
For these game modes you will need 4 Male and 2 Female Superstar cards and 2 Support cards. Wild Mode is the traditional exhibition mode that allows you to play the AI in a best of 3 matches. This is a good mode for helping you train your cards. It's sort of like the "Rock, Paper, Scissors" of the game modes. The various matches you will face off against your opponent include Male Solo, Male Tag, Female Solo, and Female Tag. In the solo matches it card-o y card-o and the best card wins. For tag matches, card stats are combined and the best combined stats will be victorious. In tag matches, there is the added (or subtracted) bonus of tag compatibility. Tag compatibility requires a right blue arrow to be partnered with a left blue arrow (or yellow up with yellow down) and receives a 10% increase to both cards stats. Where tag incompatibility (yellow with blue) receives a 5% decrease in stats and a neutral compatibility (same arrow direction) keeps the cards at their current stats (no increase or decrease). If you win you get 2 draft picks, if you have a perfect win in any game mode you get a +1 draft pick.
Similar to Wild Mode, you have Ranked Mode. Game play is set up the same, but it's important to note that the draft board used to determine the tier of cards you can draft is determined by your Ranked Mode deck, so make sure you have your best cards in. Ranked Mode is new for Season 3 and is a Player vs. Player (PVP) mode. It also requires bouts to start a match where Wild does not use the bout system. Once you start a Ranked match, the app searches for an opponent, if it does not find a match you end up playing against the AI like in Wild Mode. After each win in Ranked, you get points that are used to determine your spot on the leader board. Top 50 spots at the end of the month receive Credits. You also get 3 picks (4 if you get a perfect win) from the draft board.
Next up is TBG...
This is the newest game mode released. It is a team based permanent mode. When you begin, the AI searches for an opponent like the PVP modes. You then enter a 24 hour charging period where your collect charges from the draft board by playing other game modes or events. After the charging period, you enter a 24 hour attack period. If you forget to add the charges to your TBG deck, attacking your opponent might be rough and you might end up with a score like what's picture above. Rewards are then determined by the team with the most points is declared Champion. If you don't win, you receive a consolation reward based on the total points your team scored.
King of the Ring (KOTR) along with Wild Mode are the stalwart modes from Season 1. KOTR takes 7 male superstars (3 used as solo and 4 used as tag matches) and 3 female superstars (1 solo and 1 tag option) along with 2 support cards. When you start a KOTR, you are matched against 15 other players who you face 3 times each. You gain energy cards from the draft board that you use to refill your cards in KOTR. You have 50 minutes between matches to refill your cards energy, but there might be times that you can get away with not refilling all your cards energy. At the end of the 45 matches, if you have one of the top 8 records you enter a tournament bracket. The higher you place in KOTR determines the rewards you will receive.
Money in the Bank (MITB) and Royal Rumble (RR) are the final two permanent game modes. Both of these modes use the bout system to play. You can refill bouts by using credits or allowing them to refill over specified time periods. In MITB, you have 16 male superstar cards that you use to climb a ladder of AI opponent cards. As you progress up the ladder, you have fewer opponent cards to choose from. Each ladder, the card options have various briefcases worth 1 to 5 contracts. If you climb the ladder all the way and beat the last card all the briefcase contracts you won doubles. You can then cash in these contracts for MITB rewards.
Royal Rumble is like Ranked Mode as it is a PVP mode. Like MITB, it requires 16 cards to play. When you select a card you face off against your opponents card and the better card then controls the ring. If you lose, your opponent controls the ring. Controlling the ring allows you to choose which stat will be used next based off of the cards in your hand and the direction of it's arrow. If you continue to win matches as you control the ring you earn a point. The player who's card controls the ring at the end of the all the matches earns 3 points. The player with the most points wins and is rewarded with points for the RR leaderboard (like Ranked you can win credits) and 12 picks. If you lose, you still get 6 picks but 0 points.
There are a lot of various modes to play and enjoy. Some people play them all, others just play the ones they really enjoy. Ultimately, it's up to you as you have plenty to choose from. Below you will find a 5 minute video where I give a brief overview of what is mentioned above about the game modes:
Navigational Basics
After you log into to WWE Supercard and receive your starter pack of cards you will see a screen like the one below. This is the main screen where you have access to your profile, the active event, your cards, the card catalog, and the fusion chamber. Each of the images acts as a button to access various aspects of the game.
In your profile, you will view your win/loss record, have access to the Login Rewards Calendar and Ladder/Achievement Rewards. You can also see a quick view of your Team information if you are on a team. The "Promo Deals" button appears when you first log on but after you navigate away from the main screen this button will disappear and the "Active Event" button enlarges. Clicking on the "Promo Deals" button pops up the deal, which is usually a discounted card pack or bonus credit pack. When there is not an active event (Team or Individual) this button displays the Team Battle Ground (TBG) game mode and this is a quick button to the active event or TBG screen.
Next you have the "Your Cards," "Catalog," and "Fusion Chamber" buttons. Your cards include all of the cards you have collected in the game and have not used for training or the fusion chamber. They are the cards you have that you can use for the various game modes. The "Catalog" allows you to view all the cards in the game. There are Legacy Cards from Season 1 (no longer obtainable) and Active Cards from Season 2 and 3 which are obtainable from game modes, events, and special card packs. The Fusion Chamber is a place where you can trade in your regular cards to create a Fusion card which is more powerful than a regular card. Below these buttons is the quick screen navigtaion buttons. These buttons allow you to go to a different screen without having to swipe multiple times.
The next screen we will look at is the Permanent Game Modes screen. To navigate to this screen from the main screen you swipe your screen to the left or click on the Play arrow button in the quick screen navigation area. The game modes buttons found on this screen allow you to access TBG, Wild Mode, Ranked Mode, Royal Rumble, Money in the Bank (MITB), and King of the Ring (KOTR). I will explain each of these modes in a separate post.
Continuing to the left, you will find the Social/Team screen. You can also access this screen from button with two people image in the quick screen navigation area. Here you have the Team, Chat, Mailbox, and Friends button. On the Team screen you will be able to search for a team or view your current team and the cards you contribute to the team for TBG or Team Events. The Chat allows you to chat with other players from your team or in an active TBG or KOTR as well as having a global chat and looking for team options as well. The mailbox is where any private notifications or messages are kept. The Social Button shows a list of friends who play the game when you link your social media account.
From the main screen if you swipe to the right you will find the Events screen and swipe right again to access the Store screen. The Events screen, which you can access from the quick screen navigation by clicking on the WWE logo button, shows active Team and Individual events as well as gives you the option to edit your individual event decks (I'll talk about each event in another post). In the Store you will find the card packs and attitudes that you can purchase with credits. The store can be quickly accessed by clicking on the shopping cart button in the quick screen navigation area.
As you can see, this app is jam packed with a number of options and goodies that learning to navigate can be overwhelming at first. But I believe once you learn the basics, you will be able to navigate like a pro and really enjoy all this game has to offer.
